The Sivok-Rangpo railway project \u2014 being carried out by Northeast Frontier Railway and IRCON International \u2014 has seen its estimated cost rise from Rs. 4,085 crore to approximately Rs. 12,000 crore. The track features 14 tunnels spanning 38.55 kilometres \u2014 nearly 85% of the entire route \u2014 making it one of the most technically complex railway projects in India’s Northeast.<\/p>\n
